Hamamelis Haas Salbe Tb 35 g

The Hamamelis Salbe Haas® contains Aqua hamamelidis: a steam distillate of the base of fresh, flowering hamamelis twigs (Hamamelis virginica) with diluted alcohol. Hamamelis virginica is the Latin name for witch hazel from Virginia, the leaves and bark of the twigs of which were used by the indigenous peoples of North America as a medicine. Hamamelis Salbe Haas® can be used for varicose veins, external haemorrhoids, cracked or chapped skin, dry and sore nasal membranes, soreness in small children and adults (e.g. intertrigo), abrasions, small burns, sunburn and glacial sunburn, chilblains.

Use & Dosage

Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, apply the ointment to the affected area 2-3 times a day. For cracked, chapped or broken skin, apply ointment dressings; replace the ointment dressings 2-3 times a day. The ointment should not be ingested.

Composition

1 g Hamamelis Salbe Haas® contains: 150 mg hamamelis steam distillate (Aqua hamamelidis), lanolin alcohols (Alcoholes adipis lanae), lanolin (Adeps lanae), preservatives E217 and E219 (sodium compound of the p-hydroxybenzoic acid methyl and propyl ester), ointment base.
